Staffing Specialist/Business Development Specialist

Job Summary:
The Staffing Specialist/Business Development is responsible for both sourcing, recruiting, and screening candidates for open positions within the organization, as well as generating new business opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with hiring managers to identify staffing needs, develop job descriptions, and manage the entire recruiting process from start to finish, while also developing and maintaining relationships with potential clients and promoting the organization's staffing services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop recruitment strategies and sourcing plans to identify qualified candidates for open positions.
• Screen resumes and conduct initial phone screens to identify potential candidates.
• Schedule and conduct in-person interviews with candidates.
• Collect and analyze feedback from hiring managers to determine candidate suitability.
• Negotiate offers and manage the hiring process for selected candidates.
• Develop and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, and other talent sources to build a pipeline of potential candidates.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant employment laws and regulations.
• Provide regular updates to hiring managers on the status of open positions.
• Generate new business opportunities by identifying and contacting potential clients.
• Promote the organization's staffing services to potential clients.
• Develop and maintain relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in customer service, hospitality, staffing or recruiting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Experience with applicant tracking systems and microsoft office products

Must have a reliable vehicle
Excellent multi-tasking and time management skills and excellent people skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with others. Clear and concise language/grammar.
Ability to problem solve.
Must be willing to take the initiative and be self-motivated.
Cooperative, team oriented, patient, calm under pressure, and able to work independently and with a team.
Ability to travel to customer and prospects sites.
Must be able to meet tight deadlines.
Proficient computer skills

Pay and Benefits:

• Base salary of $50,000 per year.
• Commission based on performance.
• Comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
