Rural Health Group is seeking a full time Receptionist/HR Assistant for our administrative office in Roanoke Rapids, NC.Successful candidate will:

- Represent RHG and serve as ‘face of the company' while handling professional and confidential matters
- Serve as liaison between administrative office and medical/dental clinics. Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior-level staff or leadership
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team to include but not limited to preparing/approving reports, calendar management, booking travel, correspondence and running business errands.
- Assist with administrative duties as requested, to include but not limited to filing, alphabetizing, sorting, copying, organizing and lifting boxes when necessary.
- Greet and refer visitors in appropriate direction, answer phone, route calls and take messages.
- Assist with meetings and training sessions. Preparing conference rooms for meetings. Coordinate catering as needed (meetings, celebrations, etc.).
- Assist HR department with administrative duties such as formatting documents, managing spreadsheets/reports, screening candidates, etc.
- Perform any other functions as required by leadership
- Associates degree in related field preferred.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an administrative assistant or receptionist within a corporate setting. Experience supporting leadership team is preferred.
- Experience in Human Resources is a plus. However, the position will require ability to be cross-trained to assist human resources team.
- Excellent customer service and communication (both verbal and written) skills with colleagues, patients and onsite guests
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
- Knowledge of medical/dental/behavioral health terminology is preferred, but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Regular attendance and punctuality is required.
- Excellent computer skills are required. Expert skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Experience in Canva and Adobe products are a plus.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required; applicants who may serve in a translating capacity will be required to take a language assessment
