We run blood labs, recommend whole food supplements, and provide chiropractic care.

We are looking for a receptionist/chiropractic assistant for Dr. Shepherd, DC, CFMP. The job duties include answering phones, calling patients for follow ups, scheduling patients, accepting payment from patients, greeting patients (make them feel welcome and offer them some water), faxing record requests, receive records, uploading files into an EMR system, ordering supplements and labs, tracking those orders, assisting with patient management, assisting with other office duties as needed, and the occasional cleaning (we do have someone that comes in to clean the floors and take out the trash).

This position is good for you if you have prior experience in a chiropractic or holistic office, love systems, are highly organized, and have a friendly personality.

This position is GREAT for you if you are passionate about natural health care solutions. If you are laid back and comfortable in casual business attire, like rock and roll and 90s alternative music, eat healthy, work out regularly, take whole food supplements and love talking to people about health. If you enjoy talking on the phone, both in-bound and out-bound calls, and love systems this place is ideal. If you love working with computers and technology (and showing other people how to use it) you would fit in great.

You would NOT make a good candidate if you do not like to take initiative or communicate effectively. If you don’t like talking to people in person, through email or text, or on the phone, you won’t enjoy this position. If you don’t care about healthy habits, you may not fit in here. If you are averse to technology or struggle learning new things, this position is not for you. If you are not organized
