Job Description

Sign-on bonus up to $5,000*

The Radiographer performs radiographic procedures that follow radiological standards in a safe, accurate and timely manner which are necessary to allow the radiologist and/or physician to make a radiological diagnosis. Performs a variety of technical procedures requiring independent judgement, ingenuity and initiative. Assumes responsibility for designated areas and/or procedures as required. Maintains and monitors department supplies. Continuously strives to develop/improve relationships with all customers. Actively participates in department quality improvement/assurance. The Radiologic technologist will need to work on an independent basis but will also be required to function as a team player. Duties may overlap with different job descriptions throughout the Imaging Department and Center as a whole, as needed, to assure smooth operations of the entire department and best satisfaction for the patient.

Schedule:

Week 1: Sunday 2:30p-11p, Monday 8a-4:30p, Tuesday 11a-7:30p, Thursday 2:30p-11p, Friday 2:30p-11p
Week 2: Monday 8a-4:30p, Tuesday 11a-7:30p, Thursday 2:30p-11p, Friday 2:30p-11p, Saturday 2:30p-11p

Qualifications

  • EDUCATION:
    • Graduate of a JRCERT approved school of Radiologic Technology. Certification granted by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health/Radiation Control Program. CPR certification required.
