Adecco has partnered with a manufacturing company in Windom, MN to recruit & hire a Quality Manager to ensure all products meet consistent standards.
The Quality Manager is responsible for developing and implementing quality control tests, inspecting products at various stages and reporting and documenting production issues.
Quality Manager duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Developing and Implementing quality processes and methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment
  • Ensuring all manufactured components and products meet quality standards and delivery deadlines
  • Managing the Quality Management System for effectiveness and adequacy.
  • Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
  • Training and managing production line staff in production practices and quality assessment of goods
  • Tracking products through the manufacturing process to guarantee that each part of the process is correct
  • Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards
  • Reviewing all new products and component parts and provide direction in planning an efficient start up
  • Recommending changes in designs and processes where quality can be improved
  • Eliminating products that are not up to standards and finding the reasons for product problems
  • Acting as a liaison between the company, suppliers and customers in all aspects of warranty and quality issues concerning consumer products
  • Leading all plant TQM, QES, ISO training, certification procedures, methods and audits.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelors Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, or related technical field
  • 7+ years of experience in Quality Management or similar
  • Ability to qualify for American Society of Quality (ASQ) certification levels.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • ISO 9000 Quality Management System experience preferred
