This pivotal role will oversee the procurement of goods and services while considering key vendor contracts in place.

It will include building relationships with suppliers, negotiating best pricing, tracking of goods and updating colleagues on product estimated ship dates or heavy backorder constraints.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with the follow-up on purchase order status with multiple vendors and input Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) dates into Oracle Netsuite.
• Communicate with multiple vendors to ensure product ETA meets deadlines and communicate with ACP CreativIT’s sales staff if there are issues with meeting project deadlines.
• Daily assistance with purchasing of goods for our corporate sales orders.
• Assist with returns process.
• Annual Inventory – participate in annual inventory physical account preparation, count and variance activities.

Competencies & Skills

• 2+ years of experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task and communicate with vendors on price, availability, and order status for purchase orders
• Must be detail-oriented and embrace critical thinking abilities -- given our diverse business model with IT, AV, Managed Services & Labor along with dropships and warehousing inventory
• Problem solve and take initiative with vendors (ex: vendor(s) may lack in timely response on product availability or price issues)
• Microsoft Office experience required with Teams, Outlook and advanced skills in Microsoft Excel preferred
• Experience with Oracle Netsuite preferred but not required
• Some experience in computer, camera, retail, A/V and/or distribution industry is helpful
