Merchandiser - Weekends Only

A weekend merchandiser is responsible for working with the Sales Department to execute merchandising standards. A weekend merchandiser packs out and stock grocery shelves.

Primary Objectives:

Merchandising

• Packout and stocking shelves
• Manage retailer product locations, maintain a clean and organized back room
• Order taking when necessary
• Portfolio / Brand and Product Knowledge

Administrative Functions

• Communication and Customer Service
• Frequent communication with direct line manager and sales team
• Responsible for daily paperwork and proper completion of all company documents

The Weekend Merchandiser assumes other responsibilities as assigned by Sales Representatives and Supervisors, Sales Director, VPSM, General Manager and ownership. These responsibilities and objectives include but are not limited to:

• Attendance Expectations
• Quality Image and Appearance
• Professionalism

Merchandiser Requirements

• Minimum age of 18 years old
• Valid New York Driver’s License with a clean driving history
• Ability to work weekends
• Ability to handle multiple tasks at one time
• Ability to work effectively with limited immediate direction
• Above average oral and written communications skills (Interacts well with Internal & External Customers)
• Average computer knowledge, skills, and experience.
• Enthusiastic, Team player interested in positive company growth.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekends only

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
