Project Manager- Equipment
Job description
The UHS Corporate Design and Construction Department is hiring a Project Manager- Equipment is responsible for budgeting, specifying, and facilitating selection and coordinating the planning for major medical equipment and systems for all projects.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Plans and manages equipment for projects including scope, schedule, and budget from conception through completion.
- Interacts closely with Regional Project Manager to keep planning and projects on schedule and within budget.
- Maintain Corporate Equipment Standards and Pricing.
- Meet with Designers to review furniture specifications, advise regarding processes and enforce standards.
- Manage exception requests to furniture standards.
- Ensures Dealer has coordinated Furniture Installation per Project Schedule.
- Obtain and coordinate the technical data for equipment and submit to design professional for project coordination.
- Assess the existing facility equipment for project appropriateness and recommends/justifies replacement.
- Review and approve project capital equipment invoices for payment.
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
- Minimum of 5 years of medical equipment project management knowledge required.
- Advanced Excel and data management skills.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Desire to learn about new products continually.
- Travel 25%
