Project Manager

Location: Remote

Are you a Natural PM that loves to improve processes along multiple research projects? Do you have a Mission-driven attitude and want to see a true impact on patients’ lives? Are you open to a long term contract role that is remote with some onsite time for meetings etc?

Some things you will do include:

• Act as a liaison with PIs/key stakeholders/collaborators within and external to communicate project management initiatives, champion cross functional collaboration, and ensure the closure of projects in alignment with set goals.
• Develops and standardizes a framework for the creation of comprehensive project plans which include project scope, goals, resource requirements, roles and responsibilities, risk analysis, implementation strategies, and communication plans.
• Develops project milestones and deliverables; prepares reports that summarize key progress and issues, including preparation of background documents and presentations to leadership teams.
• Manages work through Smartsheets, establishing close relationships with project teams, documenting dependencies, deadlines,
• Actively develops best practices; transmits this information to the project team and revises project management processes accordingly. Organize projects, open and run meetings, how to close meetings, establish timelines/GANT Charts .

Some things you will bring to the role include:

• A minimum of 5 years project management; some supervisory experience a plus.
• Strong project management skills with demonstrated ability to effectively keep teams, projects and deliverables on track and to evaluate plans and methods, revising as indicated with new data and information.
• Strong ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Ability to understand stakeholder needs and manage these effectively.
• Working knowledge in multiple disciplines, including but not limited to, clinical research projects, genomics, and informatic systems.
