Job description
Under general direction, this position is responsible for planning, schedule, budget, workforce level, equipment availability, and other company capabilities for assigned production program(s)/project(s). Determines company and customer requirements and translates these requirements into operational plans.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops objectives, plans, budget, and schedule as well as oversees and coordinates operational aspects for assigned program/project.
- Reviews and monitors program/project status; develops and implements plans to ensure company and/or customer requirements are met.
- Serves as a liaison between management, project team, and customer; may represent the organization as a primary spokesperson with outside representatives.
- Assesses program/project issues and develops resolutions to meet objectives, schedule, budget, workforce, or other program/project requirements.
- Interfaces closely with Control Account Managers to ensure schedules & budgets meet the requirements of the assigned program/project.
- Coordinates resources with Manufacturing Management to ensure production need dates are met and replans, as required, due to unforeseen events.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering with an emphasis in Planning, Engineering, Production Control, or a related discipline
- 3 or more years of progressive experience in planning, scheduling, budgeting, and performance measurement.
- Must have a complete understanding of program planning principles, theories, and concepts; full knowledge of industry practices; and experience demonstrating the application of those practices, techniques, and standards.
- Must be able to provide leadership in developing and communicating new concepts; apply them accurately throughout an evolving environment; organize, schedule, and coordinate multiple work phases; and determine the appropriate approach at the task or project level.

Pay: $56,820.00 - $96,015.00 per year

- Bachelor's (Preferred)

- DOD Acquisition Logistics: 3 years (Preferred)
- Windchill: 1 year (Preferred)

- Integrated Logistics Support: 3 years (Preferred)
- Microsoft Project: 2 years (Preferred)
- Primavera: 2 years (Preferred)
