FLSA Classification: Exempt; salaried
Pay: $50,000-55,000 annually
Spanish Bilingual differential: $1,560 annually (as eligible)
Position Type: Full-time /40 hours per week
Expected Hours per Week: Mon-Fri; 8:00a-4:30p with the ability to flex hours to accommodate business needs.
Location: Main Administration- 5706 Wright Dr. Loveland, CO 80538
Remote Eligibility: Level 2- This position is expected to work onsite but may be allowed to work from home intermittently in some cases.

Join our team as an the Programs Manager. This role is an important step in connecting resources to community partners, older adults (60+), and kids in Larimer County with resources to thrive via nutritious food. Are you interested in learning more about federal programs, grant funding, and compliance required for our programs? This role will lead the team of FBLC employees striving to make a difference in our community.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES (35%)
- Supports a culture of program improvement and growth.
- Leads staff members supporting program compliance and outreach tasks.
- Participate in monthly manager team meetings and bi-monthly manager huddle meetings for personal growth and to stay abreast on FBLC activities in other departments.
- Be the voice of the partnering agency network, the broader Food Bank for Larimer County team, to ensure efficient and effective resource allocation.
- Lead team to create equitable and inclusive partnerships and programs.
- Represent FBLC programs to support any audit requests or requirements and issue resolution, if needed.
COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES (35%)
- Oversees applications, onboarding, and training for new partner organizations.
- Manage compliance with the Health Department, FBLC, USDA (including Colorado Department of Education and Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment) and Feeding America guidelines, including on-site inspections and ensuring programs are ready for audits by CDE, CDPHE, and Feeding America.
- Ensure agency files are up to date and complete. Maintain agency records in Excel database and our internal inventory tracking software, Ceres.
- Maintain program applications, compliance, and reimbursement claims with the Colorado Department of Education and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the USDA children feeding programs and ensure compliance with internal team and external partners.
- Liaison with Weld County Food Bank
- WOversee the compliance and contractual requirements of the Cooking Matters program.
COMMUNITY PARTNER RELATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES (30%)
- Manage communication and relationship building with partnering non-profit organizations.
- Coordinates two newsletters to Nourishing Network and community partners sharing information about programs, changes to regulations, and soliciting feedback.
- Lead efforts to provide learning and networking opportunities to partner organizations.
- Support the team in bringing on new partners feeding kids – eligibility, compliance, and onboarding.
- Represent the Food Bank for Larimer County in community settings including meetings and coalitions.
- Administer annual grant program for partnering organizations when funding available.

Education and Experience: Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Nutrition, Food Science, Social Sciences, Communications and/or related field is preferred. Relevant experience will substitute for a degree. Two years in a non-profit organization and/or relationship-building position preferred.
Pre-employment screening requirements: Ability to pass all pre-screening requirements and possess a valid U.S. Driver's License with a good driving record as verified with an MVR check.
Language Skills and Ability: Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language with preference of bi-lingual in Spanish.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, such as Excel, Word, and Powerpoint is preferred and willing to learn new computer programs.
Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has direct reports, is responsible for the supervision of department volunteers, and must be able to collaborate effectively across locations with various department staff members.
Work Environment: This position works primarily in an office setting within a warehouse.

Travel: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
