STARBASE ROBINS Program Instructor
A premiere Department of Defense STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) program is seeking an energetic, caring, articulate professional to fill the position of STARBASE ROBINS Program Instructor. This person will instruct fifth-grade classes primarily as well as some middle school students using a national STEM curriculum. The candidate should have at least two years of classroom teaching and be certified (preferably in STEM). This person should be able to learn quickly, be self-motivated, and organized, work well in a team of educators, and love the art and science of teaching. This person should have experience working with elementary and /or middle school children as well as with adults and is a high-energy problem-solver who models collaboration and compassion with children and adults. Ideal candidates should be knowledgeable about the use of technology in the classroom and be able to troubleshoot technology problems. Help in maintaining and creating proper databases for information needed for the Director. Candidates should be comfortable leading students in an informal science-type setting. • Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and other relevant information.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $42,500.00 - $46,000.00 per year
