Requirements:

• Must have previous supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment, or machine shop (in a metals industry is a plus). Needs to be on resume!!
• Desired experience with precision measuring instruments (calipers, micro-meters)
• Must be well organized, detail-oriented and quality conscious with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
• The ideal candidate will have exceptional interpersonal & people skills along with effective communication skills.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Compensation: $55k-68K STARTING; Open to Negotiations. Position comes with full benefits package as well as excellent growth potential.

Role:

• Oversees the manufacturing process on 3rd Shift
• Reviews daily production schedules to meet daily production needs
• Assigns work stations during shift and shift overlaps
• Supervises the activities of employees to insure production efficiency
• Conducts performance reviews for all shift employees
• Completes attendance reports and schedule change requests for all shift employees
• Responsible for product quality
• Administers Company policies to insure compliance and to insure safety policies are followed
• Oversees the training of new hires and mentoring of current employees
• Participates in weekly Committee meetings to share employee performance reviews, compensation advice, review vacation requests based on production schedules, discuss safety programs and any other matters.
