Talento Search Group has an opening for a Production Group Lead on the 2nd shift in Bardstown, Kentucky(5p-2am). This is a direct-hire position and the pay rate is from $60,000-$62,000 per year, depending on experience.

Position Summary:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for managing shift production workers in executing their responsibilities of assembly, injection molding, stamping, welding etc, to promote safety, cost reduction, efficiency, teamwork and morale.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Supervise team members. Assist in hiring, training, scheduling and monitoring of performance
• Coordinate and lead team to provide a reliable production system
• Evaluate and analyze problems with production
• Experience coaching, counseling, and promoting a safe work environment
• Train, coach and monitor team members to promote productivity and quality standards
• Prepare reports and spreadsheets of information needed to monitor time, attendance, training records, machine problems and production records (Must be very computer literate)
• Communicate effectively with all related departments and team members to keep them informed of production activities

Experience Needed:

• Associates Degree in Industrial Management, Business or related field preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 3 years of industrial experience/2 years in a leadership role
• Automotive industry experience preferred
• Ability to work overtime as needed
