Responsibilities:Paradyme Management Inc. is looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic and dynamic Product Owner to join our talented team in support to mission critical projects in Suitland, MD.
Position Responsibilities

• Interface to program management and communicate status, impediments, and opportunities for improvement
• Interface to direct customer base and manage scope and status
• Interface to distributed customer base and manage priorities and work products of team
• Define development features, acceptance criteria, and act as final determination of acceptable work products
• Lead DevOps Agile team and communicate understanding of work products
• Coordinate Agile team access to customers for refinement of requests and work deliverables
• Manage teams participation in Program Increments and ensure preparation and coordination with parallel teams
• Coordinate and schedule Agile team for off-schedule, off-hour support and escalation
• Supervise and mentor team and coach to improved outputs and outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Must have a minimum of 5 years related experience as a scrum master.
• Must have Scrum Alliance Certification (such as: Certified Scrum Master/Certified Scrum Product Owner/ Certified Scrum Developer)
• Must have excellent experience with industry leading Agile methodologies and frameworks such as, but not limited to: Agile Scrum Methodology, Kanban, SAFE
• Experience leading teams as development lead, product owner, or scrum master
• Experience on Agile teams; Scrum or Kanban preferred
• Experience interfacing to a distributed group of cross functional teams
• Must have excellent understanding of software development life cycle models as well as in-depth knowledge of traditional project management principles and practices
• Must have excellent experience in SDLC and Agile principles and methodologies.
• Must have excellent experience in leading, guiding coaching Scrum Teams on how to use Agile practices and principles to deliver high quality products and services to our customers.
• Must have experience in working with Scrum Teams, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
• Must have experience in facilitating and supporting all scrum events: Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective.
• Must have experience in refinement, story splitting, estimation, velocity, retrospection, and other Scrum techniques
• Must have an outstanding communication, facilitation, negotiation, and coaching skills
• Must have experience in planning and problem solving with product management and delivery teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certifications - SPC, SA, SSM, POMP, etc
• PMI-ACP
• Development experience, especially with large enterprise systems
