The purpose of this position is to safely and efficiently pull and combine raw ingredients and liquids according to company procedure. This position will maintain a clean and safe area and complete all required paperwork. All procedures must be in compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).

Responsibilities and Duties:

·Pull raw ingredients and liquids according to instructions, processes and procedures.
·Properly and efficiently measure and combine components according to formula.
·Complete sanitization procedures before, after and throughout process, per cGMP practices and internal expectations.
·Drain machines, and clean drum for blending.
·Place tags on barrels. Double check the information on the tags before placing on barrel.
·Complete all required paperwork accurately, legibly, and timely – double check all paperwork.
·Attention to detail is vital.
·Contribute to team effort by accomplishing other tasks as assigned.
·Must be able to communicate with co-workers and management in a professional manner.
·Ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.
·Follow and ensure that all safety rules, regulatory requirements, and company processes and procedures are adhered to.
·Report to assigned workstation and be ready to work at the start of the scheduled shift.

Qualifications:

·Education/Cert: GED or High School Diploma.
·Experience: Processing experience preferred, but not required.
·Specific Skills: Must be able to read and write legibly.
·Characteristics: Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.
·Schedule: Generally, Monday through Thursday; 10-hour shift; 5am to 3:30pm
·License/Permit: Food Handlers Permit (Company will schedule and pay for permit if employed).

Physical Requirements / Work Environment:

·Must be able to remain in a stationary position, walk, sit, or stand for extended periods of time.
·Must be able to push, pull, and lift up-to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout shift. 50 lbs. may be measured, lifted, and poured in smaller increments.
·Constantly works in a processing / manufacturing environment.
·Dress code is in accordance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
·PPE required in processing include face mask, gloves, smock, hairnet, beard cover, and shoe covers.
·Must be able to complete all sanitation tasks throughout the work shift per cGMP and internal expectations. Must be able to clean inside and outside of buckets, and drums, as well as sinks, equipment, walls, and floor.
·Must be able to detect, observe and recognize safety hazards.

All Uintah Basin Herbals business documents, work related training, business related communication, safety policies and emergency related plans are in English.
