Raytheon’s Intelligence and Space Business is seeking a Finance Program Control Analyst for the Distributed Ground Systems (DGS) portfolio. In this role, you will have opportunities to work autonomously as well as collaborate and partner with key functional stakeholders such as Program Management to provide leadership and mentoring in financial reporting and processes. Successful candidates will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a commitment to quality while developing their leadership skills as a key business partner. The candidate must ensure successful execution of the program through Earned Value Management (EVMS) including baseline generation, maintenance, Estimate at Complete (EAC) generation, proactive analysis, data review and reporting on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.

Responsibilities may include the following assignments:

  • Budgeting, scheduling, cost control and variance analysis, internal/external reporting, risk management and financial support
  • Development of quarterly EACs; analysis/assist in accurate projection of Estimate to Complete (ETC), Estimate at Complete (EAC) and Latest Revised Estimate (LRE) data
  • Assist with organization of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and job cost accumulation; Assist manpower planning, forecasting, and reporting
  • Measure performance (earned value) monthly and generate EV reports, status, graphs, analysis, etc. as contractually required.
  • Provide PMO and CAMS with internal reports on cost and schedule performance
  • Prepare program review presentations for Raytheon management and the end customer
  • Develop financial Contract Data Requirements (CDRL) for submittal to customers

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor degree and 6 + years of related finance experience in multiple aspects of financial management and business analysis including program controls
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Ability to manage priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to support updates to ETCs monthly and developing EACs consistent with company policy
  • Ability to work in process driven environment and communicate requirements
  • Ability to work within rapidly changing business environment and make critical decisions that are based upon sound financial principles
  • Understand and perform analysis on the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), Forecast, and Short-Range Outlook
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, clear verbal and writing abilities, task flexibility, sensitivity to customer’s needs.
  • Experience organizing, preparing, and presenting briefings to Customers, Management, and Peers
  • Strong skills with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Desired Skills

  • Fluent in all aspects of Finance including Program Controls, EVMS, Forecasting, and Accounting.
  • SAP/Apex, RPlan Forecasting and PMX tools
  • Integrate monthly Cost and Schedule (EVMS) data
  • Experience or exposure to performing cost control and analysis functions in a U.S. Government, multi-CLIN contracting environment
  • Working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Cost Accounting Standards (CAS), and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

Education:

  • Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience

Location: Aurora CO

Requires advanced knowledge of work area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management. Practical to substantial knowledge of RTX projects, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.

The salary range for this role is $70,000.00 to $152,000.00; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.

The salary range for this role is 75,000 USD - 161,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education/training, and key skills.
