Nassau Candy is a premier importer, manufacturer, and distributor of specialty confections, fine foods, and promotional products. Currently, NC Custom, the promotional arm of the company, is looking for a Prepress Production Artist to join our Production Art team, prepping art for custom promotional products. You will use your skills and experience to:

• Manage color correction and produce high-resolution press-ready artwork, including image cleaning and retouching.
• Determine the size and arrangement of illustrative material and copy to be used on product templates.
• Create digital renderings of our product line for virtual purposes

This is a fast-paced, challenging workplace where we also do a lot of coordination with sales, customers, and the various departments that make up the company. Some administrative duties will be required as needed (sending proofs, virtuals, uploading repeats, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidates with 1-2 years of printing experience should be able to jump right in!
• Due to the steady workload, which increases during peak seasons, the ability to coordinate multiple projects is essential in this position.
• Must be Proficient in the latest versions of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator & Photoshop).
• Experience in color correction and/or promotional products is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
