Operates and maintains boilers, Trane Centravac chillers, air compressors, water softeners, dealkalizer and all related equipment. Monitor insight AT system, Simplex fire system, Linear Accelerator cooling system, nitrous reserve warning system, and initiate corrective action as required. Monitors emergency generators and related equipment in the absents of the Electricians. Provides leadership and supervision to less senior operators who work with him/her. Will take and attend training programs to improve total safety and operation of Power Plant. Monitor various Building Management Systems.

Overview of Responsibilities:
  • Performs all levels corrective and preventative maintenance in accordance with the following list to assure the integrity of the plant and equipment, and to provide a safe and comfortable environment for the patients, visitors, and staff.
  • Fire and maintain dual fired boilers and related equipment
  • Operate and maintain Trane Centravac chillers and related equipment.
  • Make chemical analyses of systems using water to keep in operational limits.
  • Perform routine maintenance and preventive maintenance as required by established procedures and Maintenance Manager.
  • Perform other assigned duties as required by the Maintenance Manager.
  • Has knowledge of and participates in QA and QA&I activities.
Education/Experience:
Experience: Two years experience as a boiler fireman with basic knowledge of boiler room operations. Two years previous experience in a maintenance environment.
Schedule Details: Varied Shift. 40 hours weekly. What We Offer:
