Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., a Fortune 500 manufacturer of industrial gases, has an immediate opening for a Pipeline Projects Execution Manager in Houston Texas within the Americas Project Execution organization.
About AP Pipelines: Over the past 30 years, Air Products has acquired and built over 2000 miles of Nitrogen, Hydrogen and Oxygen pipelines as well as pipelines for various other products. Air products operates and maintains pipelines in over 20 countries. Pipelines range in size from 2” to 24” in diameter and serve the petrochemical, metal and electronics industries.

About the Position: This Pipeline Projects Manager / Engineer is an entry level to junior level position in the pipeline project execution group. Successful candidate will assist the senior project manager in a major capital improvement project with coordination / management of all aspects of project execution including project development, engineering design, and project management.
The Pipeline Project Manager will interface and works with engineering, design, purchasing, scheduling, manufacturing, ROW, environmental, suppliers, consultants, contractors, and customers to ensure project deliverables and Air Products expectations are met.

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Education should include a BSME, BSCE or related degree
- 0- 5 years’ experience in pipeline related industries and technologies but will consider others
- Candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated and customer focused
- Candidate must possess excellent communication skills (written, verbal, and presentation)
- Good organizational skills and strong resource managing abilities
- knowledgeable in DOT regulations a plus
- Able to handle multiple priorities and be able to adapt to changing work priorities and conflicts in a calm, professional manner
- Be a team player and have the ability to work with multiple teams composed of diverse team members
- Possess good problem solving and decision-making skills, and be able to negotiate effectively with internal and external team members
