Shelby's Pilates is a boutique Pilates studio that offers private Pilates lessons and small group classes located in the heart of beautiful downtown Salado, TX. We offer individual private lessons utilizing the Reformer apparatus, Pilates Springboard, Pilates Chair, and Mat Pilates; as well as Small Group Classes of up to 6 people utilizing the equipment.

Our boutique studio is seeking a comprehensive Certified Pilates Instructor to join our team to help teach private lessons and small group classes to a diverse population to help improve each client's overall health and well-being utilizing the Pilates method. Each instructor is expected to be able to teach safely, effectively, and appropriately to each individual client and class.

Qualifications:

• Must be a certified Pilates instructor with in-person education (no online only education programs will be considered)
• Demonstrate anatomical knowledge in relation to Pilates exercises
• Focus on client safety utilizing the Pilates equipment with the ability to provide modifications as needed
• Able to provide a positive exercise environment that is encouraging for all abilities
• Experience teaching up to 6 people in an apparatus-based group class
• Professional and effective communication skills
• In depth understanding of the benefits of Pilates
• Punctual and reliable
• Professional and neat
• Trustworthy and maintains confidentiality

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective Pilates instruction to private lesson clients and small group classes up to 6 people
• Must be skilled at proper and safe use of equipment during each class (Reformer, Springboard, Chair, Free Weights, Bosu, Foam Roller, Spine Corrector/Pilates Arc, Magic Circle, Therabands, etc.)
• Visually inspect the equipment prior to the beginning of class to ensure equipment is in good working order and safe to use
• Clean up after each class and leave the studio so that it is ready for the next instructor/class
• Maintain honesty and integrity

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
