Our organization is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant who will work as an integral member of our interdisciplinary team to help patients with a wide range of physical therapy needs. The right candidate will enjoy working with people, be self-motivated and have the ability to work well as part of a team. The successful candidate will be able to use their strong organizational skills and knowledge of geriatrics to improve lives and assist those in need.

Responsibilities:

• Provide treatment to injured or ill patients.
• Perform manual therapy procedures such as joint mobilization and muscle stretching.
• Perform treatments under the supervision of a physical therapist.
• Complete evaluations on patients, collect patient data, and make recommendations to the supervising physical therapist regarding patient treatment.
• Perform physical examinations on patients and help develop a treatment plan for the patient based on the evaluation results.
• Collect and analyze patient data for statistical analysis.
• Assist with performing therapeutic exercise programs and instruct patients in proper use of exercise equipment.
• Assist patients with self-care activities such as personal hygiene, ambulation, transfer, and dressing.
