position responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, analyze problems, and create job specifications based on requirements.
- Assist other software developers to clarify concepts and answer questions
- Assist with planning sprints and completing tasks within timeframe
- Other duties as assigned
education and experience
- Computer Science degree from an accredited college or university
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 5+ years of full stack web development experience
- Experience in PHP and PostgreSQL (Preferred)
- Management experience and people skills (Preferred)
- Web based development experience:
- Front End: HTML, JavaScript, CSS, jQuery
- Back End: PHP, SQL
- Database: PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL
- Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows (required), Linux (basic knowledge, preferred)
- Q/A experience:
- Experience with test case writing
- Experience with both manual and automation
- Experience testing in web environments
work environment / physical requirements
- The position requires the dexterity to operate office equipment such as a personal computer, keyboard, mouse, and telephone.
- Occasional lifting may be required up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to sit for extended periods of time.
