- Location - Miami Lakes
- Hourly pay $18 to $20 plus benefits plus 401k with a 3% match

Job Description:
- Responsible for the movement of raw materials and components.
- Performs sampling of all raw materials and/or components for testing purposes.
- Accurately weighs and issues chemicals/ingredients to fulfill pharmaceutical manufacturing and requesting area requirements.
- Provides support to Operations of all materials needed for manufacturing and packaging orders through constant communication with Production and Planners.
- Maintain an accurate inventory of materials.
- Responsible for the storage and shipment of Products (Finished Goods, intermediates, miscellaneous items, etc.).
- Performs general warehousing activities in support of production while adhering to all policies, guidelines and procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Receives, stores, and distributes all incoming material and miscellaneous items upon arrival.
- Assigns receiving numbers to all incoming components and raw materials.
- Loads and unloads trucks using the forklift.
- Maintains inventory in the validated inventory control system for all materials using the First In First Out method.
- Distributes miscellaneous packages from UPS, Federal Express, local vendors etc.
- Maintains tools and sampling equipment in a neat and organized fashion.
- Maintains various warehouse logs in accordance with procedures.
- Identifies components for sampling and samples in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
- Follows all warehousing Standard Operating Procedures and reports any unsafe conditions to the supervisor.
- Maintains the dock and warehouse areas neat and organized.
- Operates and utilizes computerized weighing equipment to accomplish dispensing requirements.
- Fills out and maintains weighing documentation to ensure inventory accuracy and GMP compliance.
- Pulls samples of all incoming raw materials and /or components for testing purposes as per department SOP's
- Disassembles sampling equipment for cleaning and assembles after inspection.
- Implements and adheres to department GMP and safety procedures to ensure compliance.
- Works closely with production personnel to ensure all needs are met.
- Evaluates line consumption to ensure adequate material is issued to complete the order.
- Reports any issues to the supervisor or appropriate department manager in a timely fashion.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one-year of experience in a pharmaceutical warehouse environment or equally regulated industry.
- Ability to work across various functional departments and understand the customer’s needs
- Ability to identify issues and implement a proactive response to mitigate their occurrence.
- Ability to communicate information and direction clearly while maintaining a professional demeanor
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to push or pull 55 lbs. or more at waist level.
- Ability to lift or carry 25 to 70 lbs. objects on a frequent basis.
- Ability to inspect small and large objects on a constant basis.
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and alertness throughout the shift.
