Vicky's PET DEPOT is a family owned small business, which is located in a pet loving neighborhood. We are looking for a sales associate who can make impact in our community with their skills and nature. As a Store Employee you are always striving to enhance the lives of pets and their people when customers are shopping with us. We are dedicated to making a difference in our community by providing knowledge, support, and quality products. When a customer is shopping with us, their pet is OUR PET.

Responsibilities:

• Provide a great experience by engaging with guests utilizing your acquired skills and training.
• Help guests in the selection of merchandise as per Pets need.
• Ability to answer phone calls and take grooming appointments.
• Maintain an awareness of all promotions and advertisements.

• Assist in floor moves, merchandising, display maintenance, and housekeeping

• Generate future business through a deep understand of the guests and their pet/s.

Basic Qualifications

Minimum of one year of sales experience is required for this position. In addition to having a professional appearance and demeanor, applicants must also demonstrate a keen and genuine interest in animals and their care. Good interpersonal and verbal communication skills are necessary due to the nature of interaction with the public and other partners and leaders within the store.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience within sales, retail, or related field. Possess a high level of knowledge of pet nutrition and an aptitude for sales techniques.

Pay: $9.25 - $16.00 per hour
