Job Summary and Qualifications
The TriStar Patient Service Manager will be an experienced and competent professional who is responsible for the management and documentation of day-to-day operations to ensure that patient and employee safety and HACCPS guidelines are maintained within the Food & Nutrition Department. This role will provide excellent customer service to all patients and employees.
What you will do in this role:
You will monitor and drive systems to support compliance with food safety (HACCP).- Your role monitors and drives systems to support department sanitation.
- You will monitor and drive processes to ensure patient safety.
- You will ensure compliance with OSHA guidelines.
- In this role you will monitor and drive systems to ensure department security.
- You will monitor and drive system to ensure infection control practices.
- You will assist in the development and maintenance of employee competencies.
You will participate in employee rounding.
- You will monitor, drive, and participate in coaching employees to professional and productive work behavior and to achieve patient satisfaction goals.
- You will manage the process to achieve physician lounge objectives and achieve catering goals.
- You will monitor and drive compliance with standard recipes and quality processes/standards in food production.
- Your role resolves customer complaints and reports to the Director.
- You will comply with HIPPA guidelines.
What qualifications you will need:
- High School Diploma / Equivalent Required
- 5-7 years food service experience preferred
- 1 year cooking experience preferred
- Food Handlers or ServSafe Certificate within 90 days of hire Required
- Certified Dietary Manager preferred
- Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree preferred
- Knowledge of PATIENT SAFETY science principles, theory, methods, standards and regulatory requirements and experience with patient safety analysis techniques (methods), including root cause analysis, cause and effect analysis, and failure mode and effect analysis.
- Knowledge of HACCP guidelines when assembling and distributing food supplies to ensure quality and safety of food supply.
- Ability to USE DATABASE SOFTWARE to enter, retrieve, sort, and filter information as necessary for reporting or report generation
