Responsibilities and Qualifications:
The Body Shop Parts Manager is responsible for returning a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in collision parts inventory.
Accomplish objectives through the use of proper purchasing procedures, inventory control, and staff utilization, security, pricing, merchandising, displaying and advertising

  • Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the body shop, wholesale accounts and the do-it-yourself public
  • Establish pricing parameters in each customer category that generates sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit, while maintaining customer loyalty
  • Establish individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover
  • Monitor and adjust Days’ Supply for critical and fast-moving parts’ categories and numbers
  • Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
  • Maintain Inventory Aging guidelines
  • Direct shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing
  • Manage the parts inventory and track expenses
  • Work with the Body Shop manager to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
  • Continue to maintain Asbury's value, quality, and integrity
  • Strong customer service skills are a must
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
  • Experience with CDK or Reynolds is a plus
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience as an Automotive Parts Employee
  • Previous Automotive Parts Management experience required
  • Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
