GENERAL DESCRIPTION

The Partner Relationship Specialist will be responsible for ensuring a seamless partner implementation process and onboarding experience for a portion of our healthcare employer and academic partners under the guidance of the Partnership Project Manager. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
This role is on the Marketing team, supporting a portion of our Top Partner portfolio, and will work with key stakeholders within business development, sales, IT, product development and finance. The Partnership Relationship Specialist will oversee their designated partners’ implementation, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, to ensure a seamless partner implementation process and onboarding. The marketing team plays a key role across the organization, so the Partner Relationship Specialist will have opportunities to learn new skills and grow in their role.

GENERAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • The Partner Relationship Specialist coordinates and manages a portfolio of the partner implementation process, including setting timelines and milestones, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, and ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for certain partners during the implementation process and provide exceptional customer service to ensure a positive partner experience.
  • Serve as the second point of contact to our Senior Account and Account Managers for a portion of our prospective and current partnership accounts.
  • Identify and troubleshoot implementation issues, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve them in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, product, and operations, to ensure alignment and successful partner onboarding.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our partners' businesses and needs to ensure we are delivering tailored solutions that meet their specific goals and objectives.
  • Continuously monitor partner performance and provide regular reporting and analysis to internal stakeholders to ensure successful partner outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulations and standards related to partner implementation and onboarding.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure all projects are completed on time and on budget, interfacing with partner stakeholders, internal MedCerts teams and any outsourced vendors
  • Effectively bring all internal teams up to speed on partnerships with context and preparation prior to meetings
  • Lead external and internal engagement kickoff with both external partners and internal stakeholders
  • Build and maintain an effective partnership implementation and engagement schedule
  • Understand the scope of MSA prior to procurement, providing input and feedback prior to signature; acting as an advocate for both the partner and all internal stakeholders, they should identify the partnership type and guide the MSA in the right direction
  • Manage project scope so that it remains in line with signed MSA, and both externally and internally all necessary materials are provided, and deadlines are met that are laid out in the MSA
  • Prepares and presents project status reports to partners and internal stakeholders
  • Maintain issues /risks log as necessary
  • Lead weekly or bi-weekly status meetings with partner and internal stakeholders
  • Manage project scope of expanded opportunities
  • Responsible for overall client relationship management and satisfaction during project engagement
  • Support all Business objectives by contributing professional, “fresh” ideas to adapt to business changes and trends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management or account management, preferably in a healthcare or academic setting.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to set timelines, manage deadlines, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a solid grasp on grammar and sentence structure
  • Strong creative thinker and problem solver, with a keen ability to project manage
  • Thorough understanding of how to set and report on target KPIs
  • Proficient Working Level of Microsoft Office and Google Suite products (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook/Calendar/Docs/Slides/Sheets)
  • Must possess the ability to communicate effectively - both verbally and written - using multiple communication channels and platforms (phone, text, media, etc.)
  • Possess the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and support multiple projects at the same time
  • Preferred Qualifications:
o PMP (Project Management Professional) Certified
o Previous Salesforce or other CRM experience

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is fully remote, work-from-home. This is a remote position in which work will be completed during normal business hours (approximately 8:30am – 5:00pm EST) Monday through Friday, with some weekends and/or evenings required. Some domestic travel may be required, including some overnight.
