Under the direction of the Integrations Manager - IT, the Partner Integration Specialist is responsible for the implementation of Envoy Solutions customer and vendor system integrations. The ideal candidate will heavily rely on EDI, and RPG programming knowledge and experience with multiple EDI mapping tools is preferred. TrustedLink i for the IBM I and Windows ECS Softshare Delta (now OpenText) are the current solutions with plans to add and move to another platform in 2023. Note that TrustedLink i will be the primary focus at the onset of this position. The EDI responsibilities of this position require the individual to be the main point of contact and main support person for all EDI related activities throughout Envoy Solutions North American (NA) team and may also require assistance on the Envoy Solutions Waxie team. This includes implementing and maintaining EDI projects with our vendors and customers. The Partner Integration Specialist will be responsible for making RPG changes (and/or working with another developer) when needed to the custom NA or A+ ERP software and will complete or modify EDI mapping when required.
Essential Duties:
- Assist and help oversee the daily operational activities of the EDI applications.
- Perform EDI project management functions including planning, scheduling, and communicating project progress
- Monitor, identify and resolve day-to-day issues with EDI transmissions, mapping and connectivity
- Work closely with vendors, customers, users, and business partners to provide support for the EDI systems.
- Participate in discussions between IT and other business units to address future EDI needs and operational requirements
- Implement new Trading Partner relationships with customers and vendors
- Assist with any programming needed to help complete customer and vendor integrations
- Provide necessary translation format mapping to adhere to trading partner’s specifications
- Perform EDI testing for each trading partner to ensure all transactions are created and fields are mapped in accordance with trading partner requirements
- Communicate with trading partners and internal customers via phone and/or email to fix errors
- Troubleshoot and resolve all production communication and mapping errors in accordance with trading partner requirements
- Other duties and special projects as assigned
- Minimum 5 years of RPG development/programming experience
- Strong knowledge of TrustedLink i and Softshare EDI applications (ECS and Delta) a plus however candidates with other multiple EDI toolsets experience will be considered
- Knowledge of SQL
- RPG Programing (IBM I / AS400)
- Experience in AS2, SFTP, FTP and other data transfers
- Ability to multi-task effectively
- Professional verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable attendance and ability to work overtime
- Ability to retain confidential information
