Company Overview: The Frederick Keys are a founding member of the MLB Draft League. Frederick, Maryland is a market of 250,000 people that sits about 45 min from both Baltimore and Washington D.C. In addition to the MLB draft league, Nymeo Field at Harry Grove Stadium will also be home to 48 games of an Atlantic League MLB partner team. We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated professional to join our team as the operation moves forward with the new ownership of Attain Sports and Entertainment, also the parent company of the Baltimore Orioles Double A-Affiliate the Bowie Baysox.

Summary:
The Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting with the entire operation of the stadium including trouble shooting, minor repairs and inspections to make sure the stadium is ready for events as well as assistant with the retail operations including inventory, online sale order processing & store operations.
Responsibilities / Duties:
  • Help with the preparation of stadium for all events. Assist other departments with implementation of game-day elements and game-day logistics.
  • Assist with day-to-day Stadium Operations: reception of stadium supplies, quality control of cleaning and maintenance, light maintenance duties, landscaping duties as needed.
  • Assist with day-to-day retail operations: receiving products, setting up store, fulfilling online sales, doing inventory.
  • Game-day inspections of facility to ensure a superior fan experience.
  • Supervise cleaning crew to ensure job is completed to Keys standards.
  • Assist in tracking and completion of maintenance and improvement projects.
  • Assist with inventory of stadium capital, stadium supplies, cleaning products/supplies, stored goods and retail.
  • Assist with setup for our firework shows.
  • Assist with upkeep and service agreements of HVAC, plumbing, electric, security system, elevators, scoreboard, videoboard, sound system, fire sprinkler system, and trash removal.
  • Assist AGM - Operations and Clubhouse Managers with game-day clubhouse duties.
  • In cooperation with the AGM – Operations, management of the following game day staff - Ushers, Security, EMTs, Parking Lot Attendants, Fun Zone, Picnic Host, Birthday Party Host, Bat Boys and merch employees.
  • All other duties as assigned by the General Manager and AGM - Operations.

Qualifications:
  • Individuals seeking entry into sports industry with a focus in Operations.
  • Background in stadium management/event management/retail management preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work night and weekend events.
  • Superior problem-solver, with ability to work independently.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Must be enthusiastic with a desire to work hard and have fun.
  • Must be a team player with leadership skills.

Compensation
  • $1,500 monthly stipend
  • Meals on game days
