Job Description
The On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator will be responsible for planning and executing all on-campus recruiting events to include both official and unofficial visits. This individual will serve as the liaison for incoming student-athletes and their families during the admissions, on-boarding, and arrival process. The On-Campus Recruiting Coordinator will oversee the recruiting department’s student worker/intern program. This individual will oversee and facilitate all High School Coach and Alumni ticket requests during the season. This individual will handle all credential and recruit ticket requests during the season. This individual will serve as the liaison to the compliance department for all recruiting matters to ensure NCAA compliance during all on-campus recruiting events. This will include administrative duties to ensure proper documentation in completed in accordance with NCAA/ACC rules. The individual will also serve as the liaison to all internal and external vendors for all needs related to recruiting events/functions. This individual will be responsible for all financial reconciliation documentation for the recruiting department. This position will assist in maintaining the accuracy of all recruit profiles including family contact information for coaching staff review. This individual will complete various other tasks as assigned by the head coach and assistant coaching staff.

Qualifications
Minimum bachelor’s degree. Previous experience working directly in a college recruiting department

Job Specific Qualifications
  • Knowledge of NCAA rules and a commitment to rules compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, and project a professional attitude.
  • Commitment to the recruitment of quality student-athletes.
  • Ability to support gender and diversity commitment of the department.
  • Must be eligible to obtain a State of New York driver’s license and must be able to comply with all university requirements pertaining to driving on state business. Bachelor’s degree from an institution of higher education.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet requirements under pressure and willingness to work extended hours.
  • Must possess the ability to meet project deadlines and work under time constraint pressures.
  • Good organizational, communication, logistical and computer skills.
  • Strong commitment and ability to work well with student-athletes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of NCAA compliance relative to recruiting materials.

Responsibilities
  • Planning and executing all on-campus recruiting events to include both official and unofficial visits
  • Serve as the liaison for incoming student-athletes and their families during the admissions/arrival process
  • Serve as the liaison to the compliance, campus catering, and facilities staffs for all matters related to on-campus football recruiting
  • Manage all student workers/interns and their workflow
  • Administrative duties related to recruiting and external coaching needs
  • Other duties as assigned
