We have an exceptional opportunity for an Office Leader for our Sarasota, FL office. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and be looking for an opportunity to develop new business, manage staff, projects and provide leadership to grow the office. As Office Leader of our Sarasota, FL office, responsibilities include:
- Leadership and responsibility of projects, pursuits, and staff in the Sarasota office.
- Project/Team oversight including setting priorities and developing objectives, team financial management, and project staffing/work-sharing with other offices.
- Provide project engineering and task management; conduct collection systems modeling and design; collect and present data in reports, memos, and meetings; lead design calculations and technical reports; and preparation of engineering plans and specifications for design of facilities and related infrastructure. Assist in project permitting efforts with various regulatory and municipal entities.
- The ability to serve as a technical resource for a multi-disciplined team.
- Business development activities such as marketing and proposals.
- Client management, including abilities to negotiate contracts and develop client engagement activities.
- Professional Society involvement.
We are considering Office Leader candidates who meet the following basic qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil engineering. Master s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of technical experience in stormwater systems, water quality, storm water collection systems, and pipeline design.
- Project management experience is required.
- Previous supervisory experience required.
- Proven track record of business development, working with clients and leading project design teams in the Civil and/or Coastal Markets.
- Professional Engineer registration in FL.
- Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D preferred.
- Good communication skills and a proven track record in successfully interacting with clients and internal team members is necessary.
