Job Summary
Responsible for obtaining prior authorizations, organizing and maintaining patient/client files. Sorts and files paperwork, answering phones and other office duties as assigned
Primary responsibilities
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
- Code patient services and enter into computer.
- Sort and file paperwork.
- Handle information about patient treatment, diagnosis, and related procedures to ensure proper coding.
- Maintain service authorizations
- Answer phone lines, and greet clients
- Order office and clinic supplies
- Proficient in Word and Excel
- Other office duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
Associates Degree and at least 1 year of experience
Preferably a knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of and competence in ; Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Word Processing software. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Effective organizational skills. Effective interpersonal skills. Must be able to practice confidentiality
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
