Deli Nerds Hospitality is seeking a dynamic and innovative Off-Site Catering and Local Marketing Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing catering events and local marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the catering and marketing teams to ensure the success of off-site events and to promote the Deli Nerds brand in the local community. The ideal candidate will be self-driven, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to work well in a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and execute off-site catering events, including setting up and breaking down event equipment and decor, ensuring food and beverages are prepared and presented to the client's specifications, providing exceptional customer service to clients and guests, working collaboratively with other staff to ensure the success of the event, and handling cash and credit card payments accurately
• Plan and execute local marketing initiatives, including working with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing plans, engaging with local businesses and organizations to build partnerships, and leveraging social media and other marketing channels to promote the Deli Nerds brand in the local community
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Communicate effectively with the catering and marketing teams and clients

Requirements:

• Previous experience in catering, hospitality, marketing, or a related field
• Flexibility to work weekends and evenings
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Professional demeanor and appearance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to communicate in English is a must

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
