Overview

As a Network Specialist II you will provide support for the network, network infrastructure and telephony services. You will perform tasks related to successful daily operations and maintenance of the infrastructure systems in the data center as well as stores and corporate offices. You will provide physical and logical installation of infrastructure related equipment. The candidate must have the ability to assist the infrastructure team with complicated projects and help drive towards successful completion as well as support a wide range of Cisco and Aruba equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Solid understanding of how to install and configure network equipment including routers and switches, management ports
• Support the maintenance of complex, logical network configuration of routers, switches, VOIP and firewalls associated with network traffic.
• Understanding of wireless access points and bridges
• Rack/Stack/Configure network related equipment
• Support of most aspects of network administration including configuration of SAMBA, YP, IPSEC tunnels, network security and 3 rd party packages
• Familiar with fundamental networking concepts, configure routing, switching, Domains and DNS
• Design and management experience with VOIP, MPLS, Broadband, EVDO.
• Administer scripts for task automation (Perl, Shell or VBscript)

Education/Certifications:

• Degree/certification or equivalent work experience in computer science or related field
• Cisco certification a plus
