Job Title: Senior Program Analyst

Job Summary:

This position is in support of the Naval Surface Warfare Center NSWCCD Division's (NSWCCD) Naval Architecture and Engineering Department (Code 80).

Responsibilities Include:

  • Supporting the development and maintenance of an electronic document library (eDL) containing all data items generation, obtained, or converted from hardcopy during TO performance
  • Supporting financial analysis for NSWCCD Program Managers and the Business Offices
  • Providing Operating Materials and Supplies (OM&S) support and Property Plant and Equipment (PP&E) material movements support
  • Assisting with the development of security policies and guidelines
  • Providing organizing and inventory support for security related information including collecting information on NSWCCD security containers, compiling, and maintaining and updating security information in databases
  • Providing organizing and inventory support
  • Working with NSWCCD personnel, department, branch, and division heads to assist with defining requirements for space alterations and new requirements
  • Performing surveys of offices, labs, conference rooms, and other rooms to validate space size, potential occupancy, and phone/network availability
  • Working with NSWCCD personnel, department, branch, and division heads to assist with ongoing safety initiatives
  • Providing technical writing support, including:
    • Developmental editing
    • Drafting reports from document outlines
    • Proofreading
  • Assisting with ongoing records management initiatives

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Math, Physical Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a managerial field
  • At least 10 years of experience working with the US Government tracking projects and conducting scheduling, and configuration management, including:
    • gathering, organizing, and compiling pertinent data into spreadsheets
    • formatting data
    • updating and analyzing data

Desired:

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Math, Physical Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a managerial field
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role supporting Navy program offices

Work Setting and Environment:

  • Monday - Friday, normal working hours
  • Work is to be performed at Joint Expeditionary Base-Little Creek, VA
  • Travel to other facilities may be required, as well as travel to U.S. ports and shipyards
  • On-site federal contractors, in federal buildings or on federal lands must comply with CDC guidelines with respect to wearing masks, maintaining physical distance, and other public health measures
