Our office is in Las Colinas, TX. This position is a hybrid role and will provide you the opportunity to spend some time working from home as well as working in the office.

Job Description:

• Assists with the preparation, review and filing of registration statements for the American Beacon Funds to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Assists with the creation of new products, including open-end mutual funds and ETFs
• Assists with the implementation of new securities regulations
• Ensures draft updates to various Fund agreements are completed and uploaded to the contract management system
• Reviews documents from Fund Board meetings and ensures appropriate modifications are made to Fund filings and/or procedures
• Must be able to work well in a team setting as well as with members of other departments within the company, outside counsel, and vendors

Requirements:

• Five or more years of related work experience in investments, securities, or financial services
• College degree or equivalent work experience
• Knowledge of the federal securities laws as they apply to the operation of mutual funds and/or ETFs, including the Investment Company Act of 1940
• Proficiency with EDGAR filing system, required
• Familiarity with PROFILE and DocuBuilder software, preferred
• Knowledge of open-end mutual funds and/or ETF products, required
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent analytical, written, and oral communications skills
• Must have ability to work effectively with all levels of management and support staff
• Superior organization and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to handle substantial responsibility and work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
