San Diego County’s fastest growing music Academy is looking for a full-time front desk team member to work with us in our Rancho Bernardo location in San Diego County, CA

We are a rapidly expanding local business that is heart-centered and mission centered. Our mission is to make music approachable to anyone who wants to learn. We've grown from 50 to 500 clients between June 2020 and now, and expanded our team to include full-time office staff and upper management positions in addition to over 30 instructors to our faculty. While this position is meant to primarily take place in one location travel and responsibility at both locations (Rancho Bernardo and Santee) in addition to future locations, is required.

We are looking for energetic, sharp applicants who can easily familiarize themselves with today's technology resources including Google Suite (Gmail, Docs, Drive, etc.) and helping to establish Standard Operating Procedures using a multitude of programs from Quickbooks, Opus1, iContact, Canva and ultimately can adapt to changing and evolving SOP's as we continue to grow. Our office staff are responsible for keeping up with these new platforms, and while extensive training is provided, continued education is a part of our workplace culture.

Excellent communication skills over the phone and a personality that makes our clients feel like family is an essential part of this role which involves sales and customer service along with other administrative responsibilities.

The individual who fills this position will share administrative responsibilities such as helping to keep registration, scheduling, and information requests running smoothly. Additionally, strong organizational skills, (both physical and digital) are a must. The individual who fills this position should possess a strong memory and be able to accomplish tasks in many different areas without losing focus.

The individual who fills this position will be willing to learn new skills that are specific to our operations, rather than relying on previous education and experience.

This individual will be willing to go the extra mile for our clients, because they care about the work we are doing to serve our familys and the community.

$17.00 - $20.00 per hour to start with hourly pay increases, monthly bonuses, and commissions from helping to drive growth. With one of the fastest growing music schools in all of California, we have plenty of room for dedicated individuals to grow with us!

Room for advancement with pay and Paid time-off based on performance.

Must have reliable transportation.

No music or music education experience is required, however a love of the arts is a plus!

Scheduled 30-35 hours per week, with a set schedule primarily closing 1pm-8pm and alternating friday and Saturday shifts every other week. Schedule can vary week to week depending on needs of the company so flexability is very important. Must be able to work week nights and Saturdays as needed.

Job duties:

-Answering phones (We're looking for the GOLDEN VOICE, that sounds amazing on the phone with a great tone and excitement for our customers. If anyone has told you, that your voice should be on the radio, we're looking for you).

-An ability to sell themselves as well as our services. Looking for someone with a great personality that is a people person.

-Registering clients

-Processing paperwork

-Cleaning

-Organization

-Loves organization, paperwork, and spreadsheets!

-Communicating with teachers, staff and clients.

-Selling minimal retail / supplies at the desk.

-Interacting with customers

-Giving customer support to our software licensees.

-Ability to do basic math tasks such as assisting with payment audits and

assisting with QuickBooks, etc.
