Job description
Medical oncology practice is looking for a part-time medical receptionist/assistant for our Folsom office. This may eventually lead to a full-time position. Duties include both front office and back office. Ideal candidate would be motivated, detail oriented and have the ability to communicate effectively and clearly both orally and verbally in a pleasant manner.
Duties would include greeting patients compassionately and efficiently, collecting and posting copays, scheduling patients, answering phones, rooming patients as needed and assisting provider with needed documentation.
Candidate should be professional, caring, hardworking, dependable and able to multitask. We rely on our staff to maintain office flow and act as a liaison between the provider and patients. They should have good computer skills, be organized and have a strong patient focus.
Though experience in healthcare is a plus - we have seen that candidates with different work experiences learn quickly and thrive at our office. We value our staff and take the time to train them. EHR experience is preferred but not required.
