Medical Billing Manager. The candidate selected for this on-site position will play a critical role in building positive relationships with practice partners, practice manager, patients, insurance companies, and staff. We are a busy Podiatry practice in Clearwater, Florida.

Responsibilities
Duties identified below are the essential functions of the position but not all inclusive:

• Fulfills the primary leadership role between the billing office, practice manager and physicians to identify areas for process improvement in current business office processes; identifies opportunities to maximize revenue potential, and effectively communicates and executes these solutions.
• Lead a team of RCM professionals, Oversees accurate posting of payments, billing and collections of patients and insurance companies
• Carry out audits of current procedures and processes to uncover areas for improvement.
• Recruits and on boards new team members. Conducts performance reviews, counsels, and mentors team members.
• Provide motivation to employees to achieve their best performances with a high degree of quality and quantity.
• Coordinate time off requests of team members to ensure daily work volume is not negatively impacted.
• Answer questions from team members, providers, patients, or others in a professional manner.

· Knowledge and Skills Required

• Candidate should be knowledgeable in all aspects of insurance follow up. Must be aware of all timely filing restrictions, CCI edits, and the appeals process
• Knowledge of clients’ terminology and their health care industry
• Excellent problem solving abilities.
• Continue to learn and follow coding guidelines and initiatives as they continue to be released. Where payer requirements differ, be agile enough to adapt to the needed format used by the specific payer for correct coding guidelines.
• Qualifications
• Medical billing: 3 years (Required)
• Revenue Cycle Management: 3 years (Required)
• EMR experience is required (EClinicalWorks preferred).

Competitive salary based on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
