Job description
Seeking a Mechanical/Product Engineer for our Operations here in West Michigan. Candidate will be responsible for:
-Coordinating with CAD Designers and fellow engineers on new ideas
-Research and Development
-Benchmarking
-Modifications to existing designs
-Leading multiple projects
-Design of sheetmetal, plastic, and steel components
-Reverse engineering of products
-Testing of products
-Interacting with Industrial Designers on new and innovative concepts
-Product Validations
-Interacting with customers on ideas
Qualified candidates will have
-A 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree, or equivalent
-2+ years of experience in Product Engineering
-Experience with 3-d software (Solidworks preferred)
-Good problem solving skills
