The Greer Group is seeking a Material Handler for a client located in Kings Mountain, NC.

Pay: $16/hour paid weekly

3rd shift-M-Sat and every other Sunday, 11:00PM- 7:20AM - up to 60hrs per week

Required (Basic) Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution
Prior experience operating fork trucks or other powered industrial vehicles. Upon hire, must pass forklift examination and operate forklift in a safe manner.
Proficiency in inventory transaction integrity
Basic computer skills, including proficiency with Windows-based software
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
No relocation is available for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the Kings Mountain, NC facility will be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
Prior experience with the following software is helpful: Excel, Oracle, FCS, WMS, Premium Freight Database, UPS Website and Outlook
Prior experience in a manufacturing or assembly operation preferred
Good problem-solving skills
Strong verbal communication skills
Strong teamwork skills
Good attention to detail
Able to follow-through on assigned tasks
Position Criteria:
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. on a regular basis
Able to stand and walk

Dress Code:

• Long pants required (no shorts or capris)
• Sleeves required (no tank tops or sleeveless shirts)
• No tight-fitting clothes such as leggings, jeggings, etc.
• No revealing clothes, tank tops, or exposed undergarments
• No offensive words or pictures
• Avoid loose or ripped clothing that can be entangled in machinery
• Hoods on hoodies must be down
• Fingernails no longer than ¼ inch size from tip of finger
• Earrings must be less than ½ inch size
• Hair longer than shoulder length must be tied back and secure so will not fall forward.
• Beards longer than shoulder length must be secured in a beard net.
• No necklaces, bracelets, lanyards, watches etc. unless tucked into your clothing or break-a-way
• Recommend silicone rings rather than metal rings.

PPE Requirement (Steel toes, Metatarsals): Safety shoes required first day. Safety Glasses, Earplugs, gloves, and medical-style mask will be provided.
