Warehouse Worker / Shelf Stocker – Grand Forks Air Force Base

Monday - Thursday, 8:00AM to Finish

30 hours per week

An employee in this position would perform general warehouse functions, to include unloading and sorting product off truck and equipment operation.

Essential Functions:

Under the direction of the Director of Vocational Services, or designee, the duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Unload trucks.
• Separate cases for counting.
• Sort and segregate cases by contractor, vendor, aisle, and display items.
• Place product on and pull from warehouse shelves.
• Put away dairy, freezer and dry groceries.
• Break down cardboard boxes to be flat.
• Clean as needed, to include spot clean if something breaks in the warehouse, empty the warehouse trash if it is full, sweep the warehouse floor at the end of the shift. There is some periodic cleaning, which may include dusting and/or mopping.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to obtain Grand Forks Air Force Base Pass.
• Must have good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must have a positive attitude and be reliable.
• Must have initiative and work as part of a team.
• Must complete a successful background check.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds and bend, reach and grasp items.
• Ability to drive forklift, prime movers, electric pallet jack, high lifter.
• Successful completion of forklift training.
• Ability to compare and match numbers.
• Ability to determine if employer standards have been met for cleanliness.
