We have an immediate need for a Master Planner/Scheduler. This position is available hybrid or remote.
Responsibilities include:
Responsible for planning, scheduling managing manufacturing work orders, and ERP activities.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Manage the production planning and scheduling for the manufacture of components and assemblies within the facility. You will work closely with the Manager, Production Operations and Engineering department to make sound business decisions that positively impact the ability to meet the needs of our customers while satisfying quality, inventory, cost and delivery requirements. Requires exceptional interpersonal skills and strong ERP knowledge and system planning skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Work with production to address issues which affect quality, inventory, cost and delivery performance.
· Plan, Review and Evaluate Work Orders within ERP.
· Measure and report performance (inventory and on time delivery). Assess poor performing cells and take appropriate action in conjunction with Operations Management.
· Manage work order backlog, status and maintenance for all manufacturing areas.
· Monitor daily order entry reports and communicates scheduling problems and concerns to Management.
· Facilitate daily production meetings.
· Issue daily production schedules. Adjusts and expedites as required to achieve required customer service commits.
· Assist management in resolving problems concerning shipments, shortages, PO changes and cancellation of orders.
· Participates actively in department and cross functional meetings.
· Participates in new Sales Order launch reviews and schedules to ensure on-time delivery.
· Develop and maintain capacity planning profiles and manage shop for level loading of resources.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Broad and in-depth manufacturing knowledge for both low mix-high volume and high mix-low volume manufacturing.
- Six Sigma green belt or higher, SAP experience a plus.
- Must be proficient in MS Office applications
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s Degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years hands on experience planning and scheduling a manufacturing facility.
- Excellent people management skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
