Job description
The Marketing Project Manager at Mary Mack's, Inc, is responsible for leading key marketing projects that support our growth goals in sales and increase brand awareness/loyalty and consumer engagement. This role is also responsible for managing marketing needs for specific sales, business development, and specific channel requirements (Amazon, other retail, and D2C website). The manager will foster relationships with the company's Fractional CMOs, internal team members across functions, external agency partners, and freelancers. Mary Mack's brands consist of a portfolio of fun, family-and-kid-targeted brands, including Hawaiian Shaved Ice®, Cotton Candy Express®, and Scoot®, all of which are sold online and at retail. With a strong presence on Amazon, our D2C and retail channels are also experiencing significant growth and expansion and require additional support to support domestic and international opportunities.
The role will report to the Director of Sales and Marketing.

Core Responsibilities
- Create and customize all creative briefs, RFPs, and RFIs to ensure timely and quality completion of work by subcontractors and vendors.
- Responsible for executing marketing calendar vision as directed by CMOs and Brand Portfolio Manager
- Oversight of retail packaging project updates for all brands
- Collaborate with the Amazon team and retail sales team so that time-specific events and promotions are leveraged and that promotional support materials are developed
- Creativity, innovation, and keen ability to meet goals as identified-including key consumer metrics for brand engagement and loyalty, newsletter growth objectives, and influencer metrics
- Keep abreast and report on consumer trends that relate to business initiatives or that may offer new brand growth opportunities
- Support Brand Portfolio Manager in ensuring consistent brand look, feel, and application of brand guidelines by all vendors
- Communicate status updates, keep teams and management informed, and follow up with all team members to ensure deadlines are met.
- Support eCommerce channels by contributing to initiatives that align with the company's growth goals - Including but not limited to ads and creative development for website platforms, storefronts, brand story, A++ pages, secondary images, ad creative, website content (D2C) and more.
- Support retail sales by contributing to initiatives to align with distribution partnerships that will support the overall market share goals, including design, communications, and marketing materials.
- Collaborate with Business Development to contribute assets for industry trade shows and events, increasing brand exposure and placement
- Maintain good relationships with new and existing marketing partners, subcontractors, and freelancers and expand this support network as needed to ensure quality and quantity of work.
- Prepare and maintain vendor contact directory for Mary Mack's, Inc.
- Provide supporting materials and information to all departments when necessary
- Coordinate with the retail sales team to optimize new and existing product catalogs: pictures, product descriptions, keywords, titles, bullet points, etc.
- Coordinate with all sales channels to finalize and update all renderings as needed for each platform
- Responsible for US Trademark applications, updates, and communication system
- Working closely with all team members to implement growth strategies
- Provide detailed and organized departmental support
- Develop keen customer service principles and policies that support external partnerships
- Ability to lead, track progress, and achieve goals as identified
- Assist with product launches, increasing vendor capabilities to address added demand as needed
- Track proposed budget and spend (all non-ad related)
Supervisory Responsibilities
You will manage external creative, design, and media partners, vendors, and subcontractors and work collaboratively with internal teams, other marketing staff, and fractional CMOS as an independent contributor. Over time, your support will be engaged to grow the marketing team internally at Mary Mack's, which may include expanding your role and responsibilities. We intend to create expanded marketing capabilities internally to support and optimize growth for Mary Mack's.

The following attributes are desired:
- Prior marketing experience
- Experience working in an account management role (ad, design, or digital agency)
- Experience in Consumer Products Goods (CPG) space
- Experience working in the food and beverage manufacturing industry (or food appliances) is encouraged but not required
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field; OR
Associate's Degree with a minimum of 3 years in a business environment; OR
High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 8+ years in a business environment, including project management responsibilities.
