Ops Finance Site Lead Primary Responsibilities:

  • Monthly Reporting and Analysis
    • Roll up and review site Operations financials for actuals and forecast and understand how everything flows together and high-level driver for forecast variance analysis.
    • Review actuals and give priorities for site ops finance team to focus on during the close process.
    • Put together Risks and Opportunities (R&Os) to forecast.
    • Tie out with Operations site director on forecast.
    • Prepare slide deck for Operations financial and Operations site OAs and present to Operations Finance Leadership. Update Operations site control tower financial metrics.
    • Review and understand Operations site Inventory in/out model, inventory initiatives and Inventory R&Os. Includes work with Ops Finance analysts, Ops Director, Procurement, and various stakeholders within Operations.
    • Tracking and monitoring of site product cost pool (PCP) labor and overhead rates and cost per hour (CPH) metric
  • Coordinate with site Ops finance analyst team to work issues / concerns.
    • Weekly tag ups with site Ops finance team to address reporting matters to ensure costs are flowing correctly, variance analysis is complete, and headcount is categorized correctly and in the correct cost center.
    • Do or approve Journal entries as required (minimal)
    • Work as an indirect leader to other site Ops Finance analysts
  • Provide Ops site decision support.
    • Work regularly with Operations site director to understand Operations financials and drive cost improvement.
    • Align with Ops site leaders on site targets for productivity by aligning staffing & overtime with output; run scenarios and their financial impacts as needed.
    • Analysis on Ops site strategy projects to support site goals / initiatives / cost reduction activities (macro plan / Continuous improvement events)
    • Participate in Gate reviews and work transfer initiatives as needed.
  • Finance site lead for Annual Operating Plan (AOP)
    • Communicate Operations AOP timeline / due dates and flow down financial targets.
    • Work with site Ops team to develop productivity and cost improvement plans.
    • Review Ops site level activity rates
    • Assist in standard cost and PCP Rate development.
  • Work with cross functional teams (Operations leadership teams, Ops Finance Teams, SIOP teams and other teams that support the site).
  • Ad hoc Support:
    • SAP (ERP system) inquiries.
    • Audit support as required.
    • Attend various Operations related meetings (tier meetings / staff meetings / capital meetings / SP&E meetings / SIOP meetings / etc.)

Basic Qualifications:

  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position
  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience
    • This role Supports Melbourne, FL and will require travel to the site periodically.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
