Job description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician. Working night shift hours 6pm – 6am, 3 days on 2 days off. This is an on-site position and you will need to be able to complete a Ramsey skills assessment for the position. Immediate availability would be best but can work with notice period.

Day to day activities and Responsibilities:

· Work safely and identify safety issues

· Licensed Forklift Operator

· Maintain equipment for industrial production, industrial processing, pipeline distribution systems and conveyors

· Experience with motors and pumps

· Install Machinery

· Making minor adjustments to equipment and machinery

· Repair and take apart equipment

· Replace worn and broken parts

· Preventative maintenance

· Test and observe running machinery

· Clean and lubricate parts

· Read and use blueprints, schematics, manuals, technical drawings, test results, machine error messages

· Record all work activities

· Use database software

Working Environment:

· Exposed to loud noise (92 dBA) chemicals and moving machinery when on production floor.

· Lifting 50lbs

· Climbing stairs / ladders
