The Danfoss Mountain Home team is looking to add a Maintenance Supervisor to their leadership team. This position is accountable for keeping a reliable performance of machines and processes through a close co-operation with stakeholders from: operation, quality, procurement and external suppliers.
Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Ensure that projects are running smoothly and allocated needed resources and management attention to relevant tasks
- Quality Improvements, drive activities that improve quality in the production, customer PPM and internal scrap & rework
- Implement maintenance strategies together with Maintenance team, procedures and methods. Using logic reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- Keep machines updated and determine causes of operation stops and lead improvements to OEE
- Equipment support, support to shop floor / production (SOP, Bom (bill of materials), Routing, IT, Tools and Machine drawings, tools and spare parts ordering)
- Determine pr
- Provide and maintain tools to perform each process step (e.g., SOPs, tooling, training)
- Monitor and continuously improve processes to ensure expected output targets or implement corrective action
- Provide detailed data collection and analysis (time studies, material flow, waste analysis)
Background & Skills
- 16 head maintenance / PM team
- Danfoss RRT physical crib
- Danfoss RRT maintenance shop and equipment
- PM part inventory control (storage, ordering, PFEP)
- PM schedule adherence for 51 braiders, 12 extruders, and 36 wire winders and Rubber Mixer operation
- They will be the primary interface between ATS (Contracted Maintenance) and Danfoss MHP.
- Training and OEM certification(s) for all RRT maintenance persons
Position Criteria:
- At least 4+ years of related experience working in a manufacturing environment is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering preferred and/or equivalent work experience.
- Able to be pro-active throughout the project process to deliver results and take ownership.
- Team player with the ability to cooperate on all levels of the organization (shop floor to management).
- Familiar with basic hand tools, sensors, vision and other common assembly operation equipment and components.
