SUMMARY: Maintaining all equipment in hatchery. Setting eggs. Back up to lead person.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as production demands may require:

• Checking incubator and hatchery machines to insure proper conditions are set for eggs
• Setting eggs are required set days
• Back up for lead person when on vacation
• Maintaining hatching facility and all machinery
• Weekly Generator start to insure working properly

Performs other related duties as assigned to support production demands as may be specified by customer or client.

Valid Driver’s License, Flare & Arc Training and Lock Out Tag Out Training

SAFETY FACTORS TO BE AWARE OF:

• Know how to use and locate the emergency stop switch.
• Know location of primary and secondary emergency exits.
• Know and use proper lifting techniques.
• Always be aware of pallet jack traffic (electric and hand jack)
• Lock Out and Tag Out on machinery when repairing
• Observe Flare & Arc Training Procedures when welding
