Training for 1-3 months will take place on first shift (6am-2pm), with the plan to eventually fill a third shift position (10pm-6am) which offers shift differential pay of $1.50/hour Schedule * Training Provided * OT available
Job Summary
Under general supervision, performs skilled mechanical work in Preventive Maintenance, Troubleshooting and Installation of Bakery Machines,
Packaging Machines and Production Support Equipment; and performs related duties and projects as assigned
Education/Experience
Associate’s degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
- Keeps Bakery Machinery, Packaging Machinery and Production Support Equipment running
- Repairs breakdowns in a timely manner (critical for the baking process)
- Following GMP’S
- Responsible for food safety requirements pertaining to BRC, AIB, GMP and any other legal or legislative rules and / or regulations.
- Keep the Work Area orderly and clean
- Perform Daily Checks on Machinery and Equipment following, but not limited to the Daily Checklist provided
- Performance of Preventive Maintenance following the tasks in the Handbook of the Machine Suppliers or following the instructions in the preventive
- Replacing Parts on Bakery Machinery, Packaging Machinery and Production Support Equipment
- Set-up of Production Support Equipment and Machinery
- Cleaning of disassembled Machinery and Equipment
